Fantastic experience: Excellent staff, very helpful, highly recommended

Negative experience: I have booked with Cassidy travel over 6 months ago to go to Spain, my mam become very unwell suddenly and it end of life care, I have contacted Cassidy travel and there was no compassion or help provided, I had to spend my days in hospital emailing and calling and even driving to dundrum to get this holiday cancelled or rescheduled but I was told nothing can be done and to just email ( this was over a month before the holiday) after a lot of trying a lovely lady helped us cancel the holiday, but I will never book with this company again as they cannot provide a service to people in need.

Fantastic experience: Great service, we were looking to book a cruise, first time to go and we had lots of questions Dylan, who looked after us and booked it all, was so helpful, and his experience, having been on a lot of these ships, was invaluable. Booking on the Web and all that went with it wouldn't have been as economical, and it was all done for you. Drop in it makes life so east for holidays.

Negative experience: After having a nice Saturday, we went here to plan our holiday, but it was a complete disappointment. The sales assistant named Susan was very rude and did not want to help. After telling us what kind of holiday we wanted, she only showed us 1 hotel and when we asked if there were other options, she spoke to us as if scolding us. While we wanted to see options, he did his best to throw us off. Afterwards, a friend of ours was with us and he sat down to get a separate price and he was shown only 1 hotel and was given the same treatment. It was an absolutely terrible experience. If you don't want to sell, why are you sitting there? How can this be tourism management if you are not going to help people, if you only show 1 hotel and expect us to buy it? It's a completely scandalous place. Definitely don't go and waste your time. When I left there I was extremely angry and we were literally treated rudely and sent away as if we were being kicked out. I definitely expect the authorities to take action on this incident and reach me.

Negative experience: We went in to talk about a holiday after seeing great deals online, only to be met by the rudest person ever who then lied about everything, tried to put hidden fees on the quote which almost doubled the price. He then told us that love holidays had been sold when we mentioned booking through them, yet had no proof of this and I could find nothing about it online. Overall the guy who was a very sassy guy, was really unpleasant to deal with. Would not recommend!

Negative experience: Poor customer support. They are not proactive providing you different options.

Positive experience: We had a smooth experience with Cassidy travels. We booked the rugby world cup - quarter finals 2023 package which included flights, hotel, transfers and match tickets. The transfers were not organised very well in Paris but the rest of the experience was great.

Negative experience: Do not book with Louise in Cassidy Travel Dundrum, very rude passive aggressive & unhelpful.

Negative experience: When you use a travel agent instead of booking directly on the internet, you expect that they will be be helpful if something goes wrong given you deal with actual people. No such luck in this instance. Why anyone would use them instead of just booking direct is now beyond me. Avoid.

You feel secure booking your holiday with a Travel Agent bonded so you can relax and enjoy your stay at whatever resort you choose.

Negative experience: Terrible experience, avoid at all cost. Booked a trip to Florida and a cruise for 5 people, arrived to the hotel in Florida with 2 small double beds, an the hotel informed us they couldn’t accommodate our group, advised the rep Louise on my return who said oh I’ll stick a note on the system that the hotel can’t cater for 5, no apology acknowledgment nothing. My advice, avoid and go to a reputable travel agent!

Negative experience: Take my advice don’t do it, booked flights with them to Orlando, when I got to check in I was refused boarding twice as Cassidy travel didn’t match my booking to my passport and esta form to enter US. Aerlingus then had to rebook us on the whole flight again for us to go. Aerlingus told me they always have problems with Cassidy Travel.

Negative experience: This is our second disaster in a row with Cassidy Travel. On out recent trip to Hvar we had a one night stop-over in Split. We asked Cassidy Travel to book a hotel in Split old town, in an area close to the ferry. The taxi driver picked my wife and I up at the airport. After a 20 minute drive we arrive in what looked like an industrial type place. The area was completely pitch black as there was no lights. At this point both of us were concerned for our safety. We protested to the driver that this could not be the place of our hotel. The driver could not leave quick enough but we managed to hold on to him after I offered him money to hold on. With the help of the taxi drivers and a light from our phone we found a building with a sign that said reception and a number to call. There was no reception and no other person about. We called the number we found on the sign. The lady on the phone was very rude and we were told our access card for the apartment was in the meter box. The next morning there was no one around to hand over our access card to. We had to walk for 40 minutes from the estate to our ferry. The experience was very frightening. We were dropped in a pitch black estate at a locked up building. We could never again use Cassidy Travel after this latest experienceq. Problem with Cassidy Travel is they do not listen to the customer. Disappointed and dismayed ex customer of Cassidy Travel. Peter and Maureen.

Negative experience: Opening hours is 9am to 6pm on internet Standing outside Cassidy Travel in Dundrum shopping centre and staff inside won’t open until 10am.

Fantastic experience: Cassidy Travel Dundrums website was extremely easy to use. Great hotel suggestions, had flights and hotel booked for a long weekend extremely quickly. All confirmation and reminders are emailed to you, completed the holiday without having to talk with anyone from Abbey Travel. Seamless procedure, will definitely use them again.

Negative experience: Called Cassidy Travel in Dundrum & a young girl answered. I asked her a question & she said she didn't know she wasn't an agent & paused before saying she would get someone to call me back. After a few hours I had to call back and same girl answered I said could I speak to an agent and she just said we are still really busy and that was it so terrible customer service.

Negative experience: I have had a rotten experience with cassidy travel. My children bought us a gift voucher for two hundred euro we did not want to go abroad and we decided to stay in Whites Hotel in Wexford .Cassidy took the two hundred euro voucher and when we went to the hotel the bill was 139 they kept 60 euro just to book it.I rang Cassidys and they said they were entitled to a fee 60 EUROS?.
