Fantastic experience: Would absolutely recommend Cassidy Travel Swords. A very knowledgeable and helpful team of travel experts. In particular, Shirley’s knowledge of a range of destinations and prompt communication was excellent. Will use again in future. 5 stars.

Negative experience: Awful experience. Waited over 10 years for a holiday. Nova apartments in Majorca "Family place" she said. Party's and loud music banging on doors staff and security couldn't cope. The rep was useless told us we would get a text regarding collection time by bus which was extra no text came. Flight delayed bags were on a different belt than the screen said and the rep couldn't understand why or have any information, really useless... Lots of people missed the bus because of her and then there rooms still were not ready. Had no faith in Cassidy travel swords.. some are too young and inexperienced.

Negative experience: I booked my honeymoon through this branch, and if I could give minus stars, I would. Below is the email I sent to the manager, Shirley, on May 13th, without even an apology in return. --- "Hi Shirley, I wrote to you last Thursday regarding my complaint about Cassidy Travel’s service. I haven't received a response, which I hope is a mistake rather than a lack of professionalism. We collected our tickets a week before our holiday. Our agent, Katie Leonard, wasn't there, so we dealt with Katie Keyes, who noticed our bags weren’t included in the internal flights. Despite explaining that Katie L had told us to add the bags during check-in, Katie K was worried about potential issues. She assured us she'd get back to us, which added to our concerns. Upon arriving in Nashville after 14 hours of travel, our hotel had no booking under my name. Despite an email confirmation from Katie K, we were overcharged $30 per night for a downgraded room. The hotel had no notes that it was our honeymoon, and neither were we given standard honeymoon perks. In Memphis, the booking confusion continued with a two-room switch that wasted our time and caused stress. Both Katie’s were unreachable during our trip, leaving us with no support. In Santa Monica and Las Vegas, the hotels had no record of our honeymoon. Our Las Vegas hotel even had no booking for us under our names. We ended up sitting separately on our flight from Las Vegas to London, an 11 hour flight, despite booking in January. This unacceptable service cost us over €5000. I expect a sincere apology, empathy, and compensation for these issues. This experience has made me vow never to use Cassidy Travel again." --- This remains unanswered, reflecting the unprofessionalism and incompetence we experienced.

Negative experience: Paid Cassidy Travel for flights and hotel accommodation in Orlando. Departed from Dublin on 4th June. Arrived at our stopover in Newark Airport to receive an email informing us that our hotel in Orlando was over booked and we had been transferred to the Avanti Hotel. Arrived at the Avanti Hotel to discover that our accommodation had not been booked. Cassidy Travel in Dublin were closed and uncontactable. Now we’re in Orlando without accommodation.

Negative experience: Ripe off. Promised hotel is close to the seaside all ripe off, promised we will get separated double bed inwhich we paid hugely to get that but all was garbage,, paid to stay near the city but I find hotel in the middle of Bush and to get to the city is €50 a drop ,It's a shame and a huge disappointment, all we saw was swimming pool not seaside,( onyeorii) I don't recommend this travel agency to anyone unless you want to cry and spend more than your budget during your holiday , shame to you all in that office IT'S 419 Agency . This travel agency did not pay hotel tax also the hotel ask us to pay it on behalf of them it's a shame upon we paid hugely , THEY DON'T CARE, ONLY MONEY THEY'RE AFTER. Shame shame shame.

Negative experience: Severe lack of communication over changing of my flight by 14 hours! Overall very stressful experience with my booking with Cassidy Travel Swords. Lost out on bookings I had made so lost out on money too. Would never book with them again. Staff were very rude when I called before leaving for my trip.

Negative experience: To be honest I wouldn't use these again as they don't accept responsibility for the services they recommend which is no use to a family with disabilities. Nightmare situation in GDG wheb taxi didn't turn up, the taxi claimed it did, and it may have, however we instructed the girl at the purchase of the holiday that we wouldn't be going through baggage claim (as disability family! we travel light) they didn't listen to the instruction and then proceeded to try and shift the blame to the lovely taxi driver who followed their WRONG instructions. If you have a disabled family - don't boom services.

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience with this company. I would neither use or recommend them to friends or family. Hard to get direct information from them about my booking. I had never used them before, and I would never use them again I have just been reading through the reviews on this page. Most of them have much the same experience as I did, some had good reviews I must have got them on a bad year because, I found them very unhelpful, didn't return calls when said they would. Passed blame for certain things booked with them onto the cruise company and gave me no information on the ship I was booked on. Also charged for restaurant onboard for 2 meals there was no such restaurant on the ship. . I personally think that both the manager and staff need to be retrained inTheir job and how to deal with the customer, after all we are paying for their service

Negative experience: Terrible customer service, avoid all costs. In particular manager Shirley. Holiday booked and paid for then when going to collect tickets the booked hotel wasn't open as renovations meant no opening till later this year. As it was only a week till holiday we were ram roaded into a poor choice away from original hotel with downgraded rooms. Told enjoy holiday and sort something when back. Since return company put blame on TUI as they book through them and Shirley refuses to return calls . I'd advise anyone to avoid them and just book direct with TUI as thats all they do then blank you

Negative experience: Just left Swords. Went into Cassidy at 16:15pm to book Florida with great intentions of spending a few pennies. 3 staff at the store. 1 serving a customer. Was informed by the assumed manager they were closed. Checked opening hours online and i5 states 6pm??? Who closes there doors to paying customers at 16:15pm on a Tuesday??!!!!! Shocking!! Wont be back ill bring my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: I doubt I'll book here again. Several issues. First told balance due 6 weeks before holiday but got emails demanding balance way ahead of the 6 weeks. Thought holiday as per invoice was paid only to be told on collecting tickets, week before holiday, that a fee was due on arrival and not a small amount either (would have been nice to be warned in the weeks leading up to it). Seriously bad communication not only with customers but between staff. Getting wrong information, being told someone will get back to you only to have to chase them yourself. As if all this wasn't bad enough, one occasion I was on a phone call with someone trying to sort which would have seen me spending more money and I was told, "the queue is building here, you'll have to phone back". What makes a customer over the phone less important than a customer standing in a queue. The worst experience ever.

Negative experience: Went in to get a quote, girl took my details gave me a provisional quote, and was supposed to email me with detailed one, but failed to do so, I rang and was told she was off and would be in the following day and they would get her to contact me, but that never materialised, so booked the same cruise with sunway does lightening strike twice was in pavilions August bank holiday sat, and enquired into getting a quote for a Thailand holiday for 4 adults for aprl /may next year, girl took all my details and she told me the online dept would have to quote when back in work on tues, two weeks later and they haven't bothered, extremely poor service, needless to say we won't be booking with Cassidy travel

Fantastic experience: I have been booking my trip with cassidy travel in swords for a number of years now. They provide such fantastic service and are really knowledgable on the best areas to visit for holiday. They organise everything from private transfers, insurance and excursions. I wouldn’t book with anyone else expect cassidy travel. All the girls are so helpful and Lisa who I deal with is one of the best.

Negative experience: Very desapoited went to travel with my partner very bad comunication had to keep going back to get my tickets as they made mistake in name not once but twice . On the way to Miami they didn't give as seat together . And had to wait for a transfer from my cruise for 1 hour . For the money that I paid I expect something bit better

Negative experience: I saved 600 euro from the Cassidy Travel quote by doing all the booking online myself. Travel consultant did not seem interested in my needs for my Disney Paris trip for my family. Bad experience.

Negative experience: Thanks Classify for the hotel booking. Hotel de California is a disgrace of a hotel. First night here and list of problems are long. We need our money back Asap and a new hotel. This is an absolute joke!
