Negative experience: A total disaster. 3 day service in your dreams. Phoned after 8 days. Promised a call back. Nothing. Day 9 now!!!!

Negative experience: Their international driver's permit service is terrible and ridiculously slow. It's 2023 and the application has to be posted into them, how hard could it be to have an online service? Selected the express service which promised the license in 3-5 days, found out there was some kind of backlog, which slowed the service down, although this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website and there is no way to contact them by phone, as they don't have an option on the phone menu. The licenses themselves are all pre-printed and probably take less than 2 minutes to make. It's ridiculous that this is the sole option for Irish people to get an IDP, the government should give the contract to someone who can do it competently. Trip was ruined due to the slow service and antiquated application method.

Negative experience: IDP driving licence didn't arrive. Paid express still waiting days for it. Can't ring AA travel services, no one answered and option did not include IDP. How are these people allowed to run this service, surely this should a government body. Disappointed, have no way of getting licence before I travel

Negative experience: Scammers for 3 reasons: 1. They promised to do the IDP within 3-5 days, yet it took them more than 10 days after calling them many times and paying extra for Express. 2. They know that I'm heading to an non-English speaking country, yet they proceed to fill my IDP in English and omit to fill the page that contains the language of the country I'm heading to. 3. The IDP looks nothing genuine, just a few old papers with no unique stamp or anything. It can be forged so easily! These people should be ashamed of themselves if they have an honour!!

Negative experience: I tried to get an international driving license for myself and my husband I was told it was posted on the 1st of August. It should have arrived by the 2nd. Due to the bank holiday weekend no later than the 6th of August. Called them they were very unhelpful I asked if I could reapply in person and I’ll come to their offices as I’m traveling on the 7th. They wouldn’t help me out. I initially posted the paperwork to them as next day delivery. They processed it the day after and clearly they didn’t post it when they say they did and are not very helpful. I’m very disappointed as I have had dealings with the AA in the UK and they have been much more helpful. I paid extra for express delivery and they didn’t deliver very disappointed!
